Meet the dynamic duo behind Crush It Coliseum Doug and Stephanie Miller!
As world champion drug-free bodybuilders, Doug and Stephanie embody the Crush It Lifestyle with their unwavering passion for fitness, nutrition, and proper supplementation. With over two decades of experience in the industry, they have created multiple successful brands such as Core Nutritionals, Merica Labz, ARN, Myoblox, and Unmatched - all based at their Headquarters in Statesville, North Carolina. In addition to their impressive lineup of brands, Doug and Stephanie also own the Nutrition Corners, a chain of over a dozen retail stores spanning across Virginia and North Carolina.
In 2020, as the world was shutting down as a result of the pandemic, Doug and Stephanie became more motivated than ever to create a world class (private) gym, done the way THEY always wanted. It had a modest beginning with their team acquiring state of the art pieces of equipment (locally but eventually from around the world). They removed some racking in their supplement business warehouse facility in Sterling, VA and began outfitting a small section with gym flooring, mirrors, and equipment.
A short time later, the team moved to North Carolina, to be more proximate with their manufacturing. This was an amazing opportunity for the brands to grow, but also the perfect time to bring a public version of Crush It Coliseum to life. The plan was set, and a 10K square foot section of the building was designated to be the very first, public, Crush It Coliseum. The team spent hundreds of hours (and thousands of miles) traveling the country to find and fully refurbish the perfect pieces of equipment for the gym. Brand new equipment from dozens of brands was also purchased, and the gym opened its doors to the public on October 18, 2021. Over time, more and more people found out about this one-of-a-kind facility, and as the community grew so did the gym. With an additional “Leg Pit” added, and well over 160+ pieces, the Crush It Coliseum became a true destination.
With pieces of equipment from all over the world, including pieces from AFS, American Barbel, Arsenal, Atlantis, BodyMasters, Cybex, Dynabody, Flex Fitness, Hammer Strengh, Icarian, Life Fitness, MedX Avenger, Nautilus, Nebula, Panatta, Prime, Rep Sports, Rogue, Rogers, TK Star, and Watson, the Coliseum has one of the most varied equipment selections you could imagine.
With the continued success of the Statesville location, a second Crush It Coliseum, came to life in Mooresville, NC. This second gym is once again a testament to all the hard work, passion, and vision of Doug, Stephanie, and the team. Opening the doors on March 18th of 2024, the Crush It Coliseum of Mooresville is just another step in the goal of becoming the premier destination for everyone trying to live their Crush It Lifestyle!
